Childhood Sweethearts blogged by Anaiah E.

Childhood Sweethearts by LaurenJ22

I read a book called Childhood Sweethearts from the wattpad website. The book was about a guy and a girl who were best friends and they absolutely loved each other. Then the guy (Carter) did something really selfish and so the girl (Lacey) hated him for a long time. When Lacey's parents go out of town they want her to stay over Carter's house and learn to get along. Eventually they don't hate each other but then Carter does something selfish again and Lacey tries to go kill herself and that's were I left off.  I don't think she dies but that's were the author stopped the book. I read this story for five hours in one night (14 chapters) because it was sooooo interesting. Thank you for the chance for me to give this to you!

Post-Dispatch & New York Times blogged by Will K.

Newspapers

I mostly read the newspaper, the Post Dispatch and the New York Times. I read about how summer school is letting out and no one can really tell how much it helps because the testing is scant, if it's there at all, although the story seemed preoccupied with places like Normandy, and Riverview Gardens, not mentioning Clayton or Ladue, which I found a rather interesting omission. Then I read about how the Cardinals are going to have a very difficult time replacing the injured Yadier Molina, and I read about the Israeli mortar strikes in Gaza, and about the surge of children coming into the United States from South America.

Bad Girls Don't Die Blogged by Nicole H.

Bad Girls Don't Die by Katie Alender
7 hours 45 minutes
In my book Bad Girls Don't Die Kasey has been acting weird and doing odd things she normally wouldn't do. One day while Alexis is at school she sees Kasey in the hallway when she should be in middle school. And later that day a cheerleader tells Alexis that she can help her if there are any strange paranormal things going on. Alexis lied and said  that there are no paranormal things going on at her house. When Alexis gets home that day she decides to investigate and see if there is anything weird in Kasey's room. She calls the school just to make sure that she is at school and the attendant said she is present. So she walks into Kasey's room  and to her surprise Kasey's in there when she should be at school. Kasey explains that people do what she tells them to and it's like magic. Alexis is freaked out and so she hurries to the high school and tries to find the cheerleader who offered help earlier that day. Alexis was able to find her and she convinces the cheerleader to help her. So they drive to her house to get some things before they talk to whatever is possessing Kasey.

The Fault in Our Stars (cont.) blogged by Nicole H.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
45 Minutes

I'm so sad and happy how The Fault in Our Stars ended! I'm sad because (spoiler alert) Gus dies! Why did he have to get his cancer back?! I'm so mad at John Green for making Gus die! But if he didn't die the book wouldn't have been so amazing! I'm also happy because the book was so amazing it had me crying. I'm also happy because Hazel and Gus's relationship is so perfect. It's so perfect that even once Gus died they were still so close. I am very happy with the way John Green wrote this book and I am planning to read all his other books too.

The Fault in Our Stars blogged by Nicole H.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
4 Hours 15 Minutes
I am writing my review about the book The Fault in our Stars. I think the book is amazing! I love how a guy wrote a book from a girls' perspective. I think it's incredible how John Green could understand how a girl feels about love and put it into words. But about the book, The Fault in our Stars is about two teenage cancer patients, Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters, who fall in love. Augustus found a way to e-mail Hazel's favorite author of all time who said he wants to meet them in person and talk. So Augustus and Hazel fly to Amsterdam to meet him. Once they get to his house they notice he is drunk but ask him about the book anyways. But he gets very mad that they ask so many questions and is very rude towards them. After they visit and fly back home, Augustus gets really sick from more cancer.
This is how far I have gotten in the book and this is all I know. I hope to write another report about The Fault in our Stars again.
