Casino Royale by Ian Fleming

I read the first book in the James Bond series called Casino
Royale.
This book was about a fictional British spy who was a good
spy and gambler. The British secret service sent Bond to Royale to gamble at a
casino. His mission was to make a man called Le Chiffre completely broke from
gambling. Bond meets a girl who he doesn't want to like at first but then he
goes a little crazy for her. He goes to the casino and ends up beating Le
Chiffre in a game called Baccarat. After the game, Bond celebrates with the
girl but she gets kidnapped by Le Chiffre. Bond chases Le Chiffre out of Royale
and after a long chase, he crashes his car on accident and goes unconscious.
Then he finds himself in Le Chiffre's house and Le Chiffre starts to torture
Bond to find out where he hid the money that was gambled away. After a long
time of being tortured, a man from SMERSH, the spy group that employed Le
Chiffre in the first place, came into the room and killed Le Chiffre and left.
The Bond wakes up in a hospital and recovers with the help of the girl. They
decide to go away and stay in an inn. After a while Bond and the girl aren't
getting along very well. One day, Bond finds her dead in her room and in a
letter, she reveals that she was an agent for SMERSH. Then Bond is angry at
that group and declares that he will hunt them down.
