I read another 3 hours. In my book Ken finds the colt he wants and tells his father that it is Flicka his father doesn't know what he is talking about Ken explains that it is Rocket's foal, and his father doesn't like this. (Rocket and her ancestors and her children are crazy and untameable)  not so long after someone came to buy a few horses and Ken's father (Rob) tells him how fast Rocket and her foals are so after some proof the man buy all of Rockets line except for Flicka.

I've read another 3 hours of My Friend Flicka. Now Ken's father decides to give Ken a colt. Ken and his brother Howard have some work to do. They have to train four of the horses for the rodeo, find they're missing horse and more! in the first few weeks of summer Ken witnesses gelding and death, discovers there is a mountain lion on the loose and to top it all off Ken can't decide which colt to pick!

In his fathers eyes, Ken is stupid, clumsy, ignorant and a fool. Ken's father owns a ranch. Ken yearns for a colt, but because of his perspective of him his father won't give him one. And so far his family is going broke, but Ken's mother wants to get Ken a colt.

Since May 25 I've read about 10 hours. I've read old newspaper comics, a Calvin and Hobbes book, Garfield books, and a book titled My Friend Flicka. The first three are just random comic strips and so far in My Friend Flicka a boy named Ken is dreaming about a horse and his father is mad at him because of his grades.
