Death of
Innocence by Mamie Till-Mobley
9 hours
It is the true story about the death of Emmett Till from his
mothers point of view. He and his mother grew up in Argo, a small town outside
Chicago. He was raised by his single mother, with the help of his grandmother,
to be a good man. When he was only 13, he took a trip to his family's place in
Alabama. He was abducted and killed there for allegedly whistling at a white
woman. His mother, family, and pretty much Chicago's whole black community fight
against this in court, making a large impact for civil rights in America.
